8 MAJOR TIME WASTERS.
It’s the beginning of another busy week, and you say to yourself “Wow, how time flies.” Most likely, your time was eaten up with some distractions that can actually be dealt with.

In life we are running a race and on the path to achieving success, fulfilling purpose, or achieving goals we must know that obstacles are always there. However, if you give importance to them, they will end up frustrating and eating up your time.

Attaching values to your time is very essential. How you spend your time has a huge impact on your ability to succeed. Increasing productivity and using your time wisely means you will have to learn to intentionally take certain actions.

Set yourself up for the week and prepare for productivity by eliminating this eight things from your life.

1. Lack Of Prioritizing.
We act like being busy is an emblem of honour that makes us look dedicated. Even if you operate at the greatest level to achieving your goals, your hard work might go to waste if you fail to set your priorities right. If you don't clearly prioritize, you might end up doing the same thing over and over again. Not prioritizing can be a huge waste of time.

2. Fear Of Failure.
Being afraid of failure is a huge waste of time. One thing i've always over came successfully is the fear of failure. I have come to realized that fear is one factor that waste out time in life. The moment i realized it, i killed the factor called fear. To me, failure is not failure in itself, failure sometimes is the key that opens the door to a new idea, opportunity, principle, lesson, or innovation. It is a path to a better understanding of events and situations. I think being scared of not wanting to fail is the beggest mistake to make. You have to try and keep trying no matter what.

3. Multi-tasking.
When you multitask, you're switching yourself back and front. That was one aspect of me that wasted my time way back. Multi-tasking made me understood that by doing different things at the same time is time wasting, especially if it has to do with starting a career, trying to achieve something new or trying to get your niche right. One thing is needful at a time if you must make proper use of your time. "Our brains are much better at handling a single task at a time, especially if the tasks are involving the same part of the brain such as reading e-mail and talking on the phone." Jim Taylor, Ph.d.

4. Refusing To Accept Change.
Many people staunchly defend their ideas even while facing facts that their ideas are incorrect. You waste plenty of time when you worry about things you can not change in life. I have seen people who face facts yet can not accept it is fact. I have seen people who face facts and still stand on their incorrect views about life. Most people that resist to accept change micromanage and always want other people to fit into their own opinion about life. It is like saying you want to change the surface of nature when you know it is impossible to do so yet you want people to accept your idea of changing nature. When you sit trying to change what you can't it is a serious waste of time.

5. Worrying About What People Think.
We all like to be loved, but it can come at a cost. When you are after making people to love you, it will cost you alot of time wasting. The thing is that you can't buy people or make everyone accept you in life. It's important you focus on being you and adding values or impacting into others. That will enable you get ride of the worries of what people think of you and help you focus on being productive in life.

6. Living In The Past.
Of course, events are things we can not control but we can get pass our bad experiences. I personally have the philosophy that 'the past is the key to the future.' What i meant is simply the fact that whatever we face in life is a principle that leads us to a better tomorrow. Don't live in your past, it's not worth it. Rather it is a huge waste of time. Renew your mind and set a standard that will suit you, people you want to impact on and the society.

7. Blaming Others For Your Mistake.
Blaming others for your mistake is a waste of time. Accepting your mistake and learning something new from it is better than looking for someone to blame. Yes, we get hurt when people are the cause of our mistake, however, don't get distracted because if you allow obstacles to distract you, they would waste your time and you might not be able to regain your time back.

8. Competition
When you see others or friends as competitors, you might probably be wasting your time. If you look at the picture above very well, you will understand that there are alots of people who don't know that they are not been strategic to adding values and impacting in life. Rather they waste their time running a race that would be fruitless at the end. The society has sure made so many forget to see the reality about life and also they don't have what forms their decisions. To really make use of your time, you must have a clear vision of yourself, of people and the nation. Don't compete to come a point to anyone. It is a dangerous waste of time. Before starting you have to be sure of the root you are about to apply and strategically design your movement.

Stay focus, be true to your reality and keep moving. It doesn't matter how long it will take, as long as you know what you are doing, faith it, believe it and stay inline. You will surely get there. Time is precious, so use it wisely in doing the right things.
