Following Tope Alabi's open criticism of a soul lifting song titled 'Oniduromi' by Adeyinka Alaseyori, many gospel singers, celebrities, and many others showed their support to the fast rising gospel minister Alaseyori by sharing videos and write ups condemning Tobi Alabi's action on their social media handles.

This I would say is a pointer to a very important issue in the Body of Christ. Christianity is a very important and spiritual section in this world. Christianity is God's mighty hand in the world and it is essential for Christians to know that the devil is out looking for a way to bring down the church. Always remember that Christianity is warfare. Spiritual warfare is going on in this section.

The action of Tope Alabi can be likened as one of the major problems in Christianity today. Linking to the fact that so many ministers and believers  are so full of pride, envy towards young growing minister, hatred when discovered that a younger person is coming up like them and getting better in the ministry. Alot of us might say we don't want or like to talk about things like this and that includes me. But if we don't talk, how would non-believers or those who are struggling to understand the word understand the ways of Christ?

Although, Tope Alabi has rendered an apology which was the right thing to do. However, let's not forget that as believers our job is to win souls for Christ and we should not use our actions to discourage people from believing in God or misleading them. I am not against her rather I saw the need to address this aspect seen it is a news that has gone round.

The question here is, as believers and ministers of the gospel are we supposed to demonstrate hate speech towards a fellow human, believer or non-believer? Do we have to do something that would make people question our faith, the word of God and the existence of God before we realize that we are Christians? Are people supposed to address us as,'look at them and they called themselves Christians'before we realize our mistakes or that we are wrong in actions?

The demonstration of disappointment and ridicule towards Tope Alabi by so many over her condmnable act is not out of place. The truth is, when a role model or leader forgets his or her place,it's the same people who sang her or his praises that would humiliate the individual. Hence the saying, "pride goes before a fall." Actions like words are very powerful. It is important for us as a people to understand the Mind Your Business institution.

A believer's life  looks different than it would if you were non-believer. As a believer greater satisfaction comes by maintaining your relationship with the Lord, knowing and understanding His words and following His commands.  When the word of God becomes your priority, you'll likely find that you are getting closer to perfection. Perfection in this context is becoming like Christ in thought, spirit, and body.

Hate speech is something that always passes on a negative vibe. It was never seen in Christ and as believers should not be seen in us. This negative vibes are vibes that people can feel and perceive. We should know that the generation we are in today have more enlightened creations than ignorance ones. There is nothing you can say to justify or change the mind of certain people after your action. People only accept your apology after your error from the point of hate because they are busy with positive vibes.

Correcting an action is very good and very necessary. In fact, according to Matthew 5:14, we are made to understand that we are light to the world and so as a light we are meant to correct every negative and evil impression. When correction is coming from a stand point of Love, people know and when that correction is coming from a stand point of hate, jealousy, envy, people equally know. Seriously, that could be an impression we may never be able to erase from someone and so your action might have already condemned a soul.

As a minister or a believer always remember that whatever you do, if it mislead a soul, you are going to account for that soul. "Ye are the salt of the earth"(Matthew 5:13). The same scripture and verse made it clear that when a salt looses it saltiness of what use is the salt.

Mindfulness is one very most important thing to learn. When you hear the word "Mind Your Business." It is not about busy body kind of expression. In this context it is about knowing your stand as a child of God. Knowing what to say to people and what not to say. Minding your business is knowing that whatever God has assigned you to do is what you should do and don't pry into others affairs.

You are not the one that told God to speak to them. You were not there to know how God gave them their messages. So you do not have the right to condemn a person's hard work or assignment or condemn a person at all.

Alot of believers or Christians today, are so used to dragging the name of the Holy Spirit into every little thing both senseless and sensible things. Because of the name of the Holy Spirit mentioned by Tope Alabi at the point of condemnation on the altar is the reason for this write up.

Jesus has not come to condemn anybody and He will never condemn anyone. If God gives you a vision, your job is to obey and carry it out. The way and manner that you chose to carry it out is between you and God. It is nobody's business. When a person stand to correct another from the stand point of condemnation, it is not from God and it can never be Christ.

The song title "Oniduromi" which means "My Guarantor or The One Who Stands By Me"i would say might be inspired by the scripture Hebrews 7:22 "Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant," which stated clearly that Jesus became the Guarantor of a better covenant. If Jesus is the guarantor of the better covenant that is binding God and us it means that Jesus is indeed our "Oniduro", "Guarantor."

When a person is now saying something against the word of God and mentioned the Holy Spirit in order to make it look like truth, it is dangerous. There is no forgiveness when a person sins against the Holy Spirit of God. Becareful the way you use His name even when you know that you are lying. Don't correct someone and bring errors into your life.

Christians and believers it is important you understand that there are different voices in the world today. You have to know the voice that you are hearing. The Bible says "You brood of vipers! How can you speak good things, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks"(Matthew12:34).

I saw the need to start telling people the danger of using the name of the Holy Spirit to lie. Stop saying what Holy Spirit did not tell you. The word of God also made us to know that God has held His words in a very high level and God can never contradict His own word because God is His word.

It is a call to Christians, don't use the thoughts of your heart to keep misleading the souls you are supposed to win over to Christ. Don't do it and later start looking for forgiveness. Believers will forgive but what about the non-believers and the growing Christians? You might use that act to discourage them and lead them to condemnation. Be guided and led by the Holy Spirit. Don't be the one that is trying to lead the Holy Spirit.

Learn to mind your business in the things of the spirit. The only business we have together as believer is the word of God, the work of God and most importantly Love to humanity. When you love a person it will be very difficult to want to condemn the people in public or behind. When you love a person, your priority will be how to impact into that person. That is what we live for, to impact into the lives of others. We live to know that we have to be good to humanity. The power of Love is seen in our demonstration of care to humanity.

If you learn to mind your business, you will make positive and effective impacts in the area you are called to serve. Keep quiet when you don't have something to say. Silence is golden. Mind Your Business.
