WHO IS MARY MOTHER OF JESUS?
I have always asked myself if our Lord and Saviour really have a mother. For a very long time I kept asking myself the same question. Does God Almighty really have a mother? This question is one very big puzzle that I felt I gat to solve before my head explode.

Amazingly, I realized that the Holy Bible is a spirit. It is not a novel, neither is it a mere book. It is a spirit. I discovered that the Holy Bible is not just a spirit but the Almighty in a book form. Wow! What a mystery we have in the Creator. Who can really fathom His majesty and ways.

He said, only those that Fear Him, are the ones He will reveal personal secrets to. Reason been that "in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him"(Acts 10:35). This came in correspondent of His word "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"(John 1:12).

When I stumbled on the above Scriptures, I realized that God do not need a woman to make anyone a son or daughter. He only required that we believe His name and receive Him. That made me more curious to really want to know why Mary was called the mother of Jesus. Then I asked the question, Who Is Virgin Mary? I used the word Virgin Mary for the purpose of clarity. We have different Mary's mentioned in the Holy Bible.

The conception of Mary is a mystery in itself but to them that are mature in the things of the spirit, those who have left the elementary doctrine and move on to maturity are they that can discern the things of righteousness. In one verse, the Saviour Himself explained to the world who His mother and brothers are. The above Scripture, explained to us how we can be adopted to be called children of God. Which in it simplest form, is to Receive Him and Believe in His name.

The question now is Who Is Mary Mother Of Jesus?
Amazingly, all the Mary's mentioned in the Holy Bible, played very significant roles. That made me realized that the name Mary, is a very special name and to my own understanding means,  "Symbol of Righteousness." Or "A Vessel Of Righteousness."

When Jesus appointed disciples, the Holy Bible mentioned twelve of them. Very significant. Later on, Jesus appointed Seventy. Afterwards, when Jesus died, the Holy Bible mentioned a Rich man who was a SECRET disciple of Jesus Christ, that came to ask for His body and went to bury Him."When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:"(Matthew 27:57).

The question above has a very straight answer. Who is Mary mother of Jesus? Mary mother of Jesus according to the book of Mark "they said to Him, look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You, But He answered them, saying, 'who is my mother and brothers?' And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, 'Here are My mother and My brother! For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother"(3:32-35).

Mary mother of Jesus is simply a person that got conceived of the word of God by Receiving Him and Believing in His name and then practice Righteousness. The word of God is a Seed and you must know that every seed needs to be nurture if it must grow. The moment an individual accept Jesus as Lord and Person Saviour and forsake Sin completely, you are automatically Mary the mother of Jesus.

This is one mystery that even the kingdom of darkness can not unfold. How God keeps reproducing Himself at every time a child is born from a Righteous womb. Everyone who has kept himself or herself for Christ is a vessel unto honour. That person is Mary. Likewise, anyone who receives and believe in the name of Jesus and then practice Righteousness is automatically a vessel unto honour. If that individual walk perfectly in Holiness, he or she shall also be called Mary.

At every point in time God looks for a vessel to carry out a special assignment. In the vineyard, there are jobs for all but there is an assignment for an individual to carry out by leading others. Mary is no exception. Mary is one of those vessels picked for a very peculiar assignment.

It is very interesting to discover that Mary was kept for the purpose of the conception of the New Covenant. Elizabeth her cousin understood what it means to believe in God and the guaranty of God's word. "And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord"(Luke 1:45). And in reply Mary explained perfectly what the blessing(covenant) of God entails. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed"(Luke 1:46-48).

When God chooses you for an assignment, it is a generational thing. We are all special before God but we must understand what Jesus meant when He said "Many be called, but Few chosen"(Matthew 20:16). Mary was chosen. Difficult but true, we can as well say that Mary was the one manifesting purpose in the person of Jesus Christ. Mary got conceived of the New Covenant and brought it forth to the world. Explaining what the Almighty has prepared from the inception of the world in order for the Word to be fulfilled.

I personally will say that Mary was the Lord's personal disciple. For every chosen person has a direct contact with the Lord. "Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead"(Acts 10:40-41). As God decided to come through Mary the virgin, so when He rose from the dead, the first chosen He appeared to was a woman named Mary Magdalene.

I do not have doubt, in as much as the Holy Bible did not say so much about Mary Magdalene, I strongly believe that she was a great Prophetess. Including the other women that had encounter with Christ in the Bible. For as many that believe in Him, there shall be a performance of those things that is said to them.

What do you believe in? Hannah was an example of a woman who loved God but didn't realized her purpose on time. Not until Hannah realized that she was a woman reserved for a special purpose, her womb did not open. "And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head"(1Samuel 1:11).

That was a point of realization for Hannah. She got it right by saying the right pray at the appointed time. In Mary's case, she got a visitation and believed in the things that was told her. A lot of people today, miss it in life because they can not differentiate. You have to identify what God is saying to you. Even when some people hear, they find it difficult to believe. You have to know your place in His vineyard because as we talk about positioning in organizations, so we have positioning in God's vineyard.

If you leave your department and go to another in His vineyard, you might delay your miracles. If you miss your right space and fill up another, you might just be wasting your time. For instance, so many people complain of working in the house of God, yet suffering. I can confidently tell you that if you are experiencing that, you are not in your right place in His vineyard. It is important you locate your place.

He has called everyone of us for one very most important work, which is to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature"(Mark 16:15). But He has called and chosen us for special and peculiar assignments. The reason been that there are diversities  of gifts. "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal"(1Corinthian 12:4-7).

Which ever gift God gives you or whichever place God fixes you, is for His own purpose and for you to profit withal. The story of the vineyard in Matthew chapter 20, explained to us that everyone that came in to work, got rewarded. Jesus said it all, they that believe and do the work of the father, are His mother and brothers.

Friend, what then are you waiting for? Isn't it obvious that anyone who does not do the will of God is not of God? That person can not be classified as the mother of Jesus and can never be a partaker of heaven's inheritance. (1Corinthians 6:9-10). Once you accept Christ and practice Righteousness, it means you are conceived of the Seed of God. That is to say that the Seed of God lives inside of you. That same way, as many that receive Him and believe in His name, He has given the right to be called children of God.

Mary therefore, is a woman or man who preserves him or herself for God. I say so because Mary manifested in two ways. Mother and Son. The mother part stance for the Female gender who preserves herself and respect her virginity and also understand that she is a holy vessel unto honour. Again, to the women, who might have been in sin and then realized that for her  to understand her place and authority as a woman, she need to embrace Christ fully.

These are not women made for the kitchen alone. They are woman that knows their rules and roles. They know what authority means and how to use it. Mary understood this very well that at the wedding reception of the tax collector, the people came to Mary and said 'No more wine.' Mary confidently asked them to wait, for what they seek is not a problem.

The carrier of the ultimate authority by Faith interceded and said no more Wine to the Master. Even when Jesus said woman my hour hasn't come. Mary didn't go, rather she turned and told the people to stay with Him. 'Whatever He ask you to do, do it.' That is the characteristic of a woman that understand her authority as a believer.

Mary as the Female gender is the Believer woman that understand the role of a mother, wife, her place in Christ, and the power of prayer and Faith. Deborah was an example of the Believer woman.

Mary as the Male gender is the man that knows that Christ is His head. Man that understand that he is born to rule and control. Even when a woman is given authority, he has the higher authority but Christ is His head. Man that has kept himself for God to make use of.

Now, for everyone who believe He has given power to do great things. "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover"(Mark 16:17-18). That is power.

In order for you to manifest divine purpose in life, you must be a Believer. Jesus said "unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"(John 3:3). Whoever that is not born again can not manifest divine purpose. It is so impossible to be in Sin and manifest divine purpose because Jesus added by saying it clearly "Marvel not that I say this to you, Ye must be Born Again"(John 3:7).

Whoever fear the Lord and practice Righteousness, which is the Will of the Father, is Mary the Mother of Jesus. If your life is not in line with God's purpose, think about it very well because you might just be wasting your time. Discover yourself by practicing Righteousness.

Have u called her Blessed today?
Since God first honoured her and Jesus said at his point of death to John and we his disciples to behold her, to accept her as our mother also. Does she has a place in ur heart, in ur home? Questions u should ponder about.
