RENEW YOUR MIND
Good morning wonderful children of God. It is a beautiful morning and one God has made for us to fulfill all the good things we desire. Maybe your mind box is bouncing with so much words and you don't seem to know how to get around. If you really want to live and achieve desired purpose, you must be diligent about guarding your thoughts and learn to renew your mind.
We go through rough times in life. It is part of our existence. Sometimes we get caught up in a very confusing and frustrating situation. Many a times, no one seem to understand what you are passing through because they have their own ideology about life. You don't have to border yourself with what people think of you as long as you are on the Lord's side. For one with God is with Majority.
When God gives you vision, it is important you know that whatever God showed you, you are the only that saw it. You are the only one that heard Him when He spoke to you. You are the only one that received what He said to you. This is one major reason you should not border yourself with what people say or believe about you.
Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do people think I am?" The disciples said some said prophet. And He asked them, "who do you think I am?" Now, what people think of you is not important. The question is who do God tell you that you are? When God is working with us we can not control Him. God is the one that decides the time.
For sure, whatever vision God shows you or place in your heart, He has made provision for it. Sometimes, the path to getting into the main purpose can be very rough. Like we know, when God gives a vision He makes provision for it. The truth is, the provision is in the path He has chosen for you to take either rough or smooth. The reason is because every vision has an appointed time. Maybe you are getting tired of waiting because friends, family, people around you do not believe in you anymore.
Friend, be at peace, God is not a man that He will lie. Just "Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry"(Habakkuk 2:2-3).
As long as you are on the Lord's side, the Lord will be on your side. What you need is to renew your mind. Maybe you will benefit from these steps:
1. Don't feel bad when people fail to believe you. Hold on to God,the revealer of secrets. The path to fulfilling purpose is not an easy path. It is a path full of gross darkness, betrayer, mockery, rejection, but after the storm, comes Peace. Always ask God guard and direct your mind.(Romans 12:2). It is a pure heart that can only hear expressly from God.
2. Maybe those negative words you heard from friends, family, people around you are so heavy in your heart and you feel like breaking down. There is nothing wrong in CRYING. CRY IT OUT. The tears of a heavy heart speaks thousand words. The story of the Sinner Woman in the Scripture of Luke Chapter Seven is a very important example. The Sinner woman didn't speak a word, but her tears did the talking for her. The tears from a sincere heart is a prayer request to God. He knows all your needs. Cry it out.
3. Always have the right attitude towards life. Don't be negative because of the delay or what people are saying about you. Someone might get to a place before you doesn't really mean that the person has arrived before you. Jesus said "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen"(Matthew 20:16). It is not about who got there first. It is about God decision. Let your focus be replace with God's word. God is not a man that He should lie.
4. Believe in your vision and hand it back to God. When the appointed time comes, it will take on divine interpretation.
5. Always remember that every word that goes out of God must surly come to fulfillment. Believe it God(Hebrews 11:1-2). Faith brings good report.
