What is the right word when someone is a boss? "Master", "boss" ?? One of the biggest characteristics that employers look for in apprentices is ingenuity. Firstly, take some time find out exactly how your company works – inside and out. Know the rules and regulations and ensure to follow the rules without disrespecting your employer or boss. 

It is important you do everything in your power to impress your boos or employer. In a situation where a boss doesn’t want you to address him or her as a boss, master or madam, what then is appropriate to use in addressing the boss? 

Is it appropriate to call a boss by name, aunty/uncle or master/madam? Naturally, of course, I believe that honour is given to whom it is due. So I really want to know if respect should be gotten forcefully or if is something that is earn.
