A PEOPLE AUDIT.
Have you ever started to talk to someone you thought you knew but it turned out to be the wrong person? HALT! That could be heartbroken right? Get off it and let's talk about it. 

I have discovered that people are the most essential factor in life. When we talk about attaining success in life or striving to get to the apex of a career, you need one good person to either create an opportunity for you or be the opportunity that you need.

If you must attain greatness or succeed in whatever goal you set for yourself, you must learn to do a people audit.

What Is A People Audit?
It is important to always evaluate people before letting them into your space, life and even before discussing things about your dream with them. Everyone has a dream but you have to be awake to make your dream come through.

A people audit is an objective evaluation of the people around you. You get this done by making a list of the people around you. Watch the way they speak with you. Watch the way they act when they see an opportunity coming or open to you. Know if they are willing to let your dream see the light of day.

This aspect of life is one thing i struggled with for a very long time before i got to realized that in life, in pursuit of purpose, dream or vision the major obstacles you meet are people and so there is a need for you to understand that you don't need everybody on your path to success, achieving purpose or dreams. So in order to know the kind of people to let into your life, learn to do a people audit.

You can only get to audit people properly through regular review of people deliverables, their role in your life, stability of their communication and what they think you are and how important what you have to offer is to them.

Cue Ball, writes: “In business and in life, the most critical choices we make relate to people. Yet being a good judge of people is difficult."

So how do we get better at sizing up people, in order to avoid bringing the wrong people closer to us?

Correctly picking, there are five kind of people we should be with. Understanding this will help you know the relationships to maintain.

1. The Patrons:
These are people who effectively relate to you in a positive way. They are the kind of people that help you to live with yourself despite your human frailties and imperfections. They help you make significant changes in personality and life. They are the people you should allow in your life and space.

2. The Givers:
These are people who have the ability to discern realistic dreams and visions. They use assets of time, money, and possessions to help you reach your goals or achieve your dream. They are people that use everything they have to key and run with your vision for you. They give you hope in hopeless situation. They are people to keep as friends or accept as those that should be with you.

3. Destiny Helpers:
Destiny helpers comes in different ways. They are people who appear in your life when you are in a critical moments and help you navigate through those tough times. They are sent to our paths to salvage an important assignment for our lives. These people are the kind you pray to meet. You have to pray to meet them because they are people that are divinely attached to your purpose, dream or vision in life.

4. The Referrers:
These are people who you come across in life and once they discover what you are good at and are opportune to recommend a person for a position or a thing you can handle, they will remember you immediately and refer you. These kinds are usually not easy to come by, you have to pray to meet them. They are like the destiny helpers. You need them in life.

5. The Correctors:
These are people who will never use your mistakes against you. No matter how bad the errors you made are. They help you see a testimony in your errors. They are soul lifters and are always there to help you get it right in life. They help you work on your mistakes, and make you see a right in your wrong. If you come across them, maintain your relationship with them.

We do not always plan to meet the people that comes our way but we can choose the people we want to stay with us. A people audit is very important for your success, existence and your purpose in life. Make a wise choice when it comes to establishing relationship.
