INTEGRITY 

“Goodness is about character-integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral, courage, and the like. More than anything else, it is about how we treat other people.”Dennis Prager.

So many people neglect this aspect of life. They don’t see it as bad, if one lacks integrity. The truth is that integrity is not just an important aspect of life, but something that should be part of our lives. I noticed that people who lacks integrity, are those who usually think they are smarter than others. Proverbs 26:12 says, “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.”

Integrity is the practice of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. Before you can win someone’ trust, you should first start by showing integrity.

Integrity is a word we hear almost everyday, but a lot of people do not take time to think about it. Integrity is one of the great qualities anyone can have. It is a very important aspect of leadership. Integrity means doing the right thing at all times.

Jesus while explaining to the people the Rules of Life made it clear that a person who lacks integrity is under the influence of an evil spirit. Building ones image starts by understanding the importance of doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. “But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil”(Matthew5:37).  Integrity is one component that can give a person a win win career.

You must always stand on the right and speak the truth no matter what the circumstances maybe.”The greatness of a man is not how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” Bob Marley. a person who lacks integrity, can never be trustworthy. This is one component in life, if missing in a man can lead someone to hell. May God teach us more about Himself.

QUESTION:
Ask yourself this question, ‘do I stand on my word? Am I really displaying the attributes God want me to display in life? Can I say that my Yes is Yes and No is No?
