WORK ON THE RAW MATERIAL.

Genesis 2:18
"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."

When God gives you a partner, He gives you a raw material. It is your duty as a husband or a wife to make a product out of that raw material. This is the reason you should have an understanding of what you are getting into before saying I do.

Alot of men and women don't know the purpose of which they are in marriage. Now, so many single ladies are going about looking for marriages to break up or homes to enter, instead of working on themselves and identify their purpose on earth.

When you find purpose first, it gives you a guide and helps you understand how to choose right. If a man knows his purpose here on earth and runs with it, along the line when your wife comes; she might not be a perfect image, because you know your purpose she becomes a raw material for you to work on.

Same is with a woman. If you know your purpose and run with it, when your husband comes, he might not be that perfect picture in your head, because you are running with purpose he becomes a raw material for you to work on. Purpose helps you understand the importance of a thing and enable you identify the essence of impartation.

Marriage is purpose. It is not an institution that is meant for two perfect people. It is a place where imperfection meet perfection and the two work on their raw values to become an excellent product.

When God made the declaration that it is not good for a man to be alone. It was because God saw that the man is not complete without the woman. The presence of the woman in the life of the man makes his imperfection perfect.

The woman is called a help meet. Which implies that there is an area or areas where the man can not work all by himself. His inability to help himself, create a space in his life that someone has to fill up.

The space is the imperfect nature of the man that the woman is meant to bridge. This is same with a woman. In fact, in the case of a woman, believe it or not, they're some women that will not be able to manifest purpose in life until they meet their partners.

Without their partners in their lives, there will always be a void. That void is what makes her imperfect and when the man comes, his presence complete the woman, then the urge of fulfilling purpose in life sets in. You must learn to work on the raw material that God has given to you.

God only gave man tree and allow man to make whatever he so desires from the tree. Every gift that God place in your hands is a raw material. You have to discover it and work on it. Your partner is a gift from God. Like the scripture says, whoever find a wife, finds a good thing and will obtain favour from God. That is to say, the gift of God gives blessings. Marriage is a union that attracts blessings from God. But when you remove purpose from it, the marriage becomes empty and create room for snakes to come in. Identify why you married your partner. It is of great importance you do so.
